ROHS Certification
It was the first time that the heavy metals, which were harmful to human health in electrical and electronic equipment, were found in Holland in 2000 in the cables of a game machine sold in a batch of markets. In fact, the most widely used solder in the production of electrical and electronic products, such as lead and other harmful heavy metals, are printed in solder and printing boxes.
The EU Council and the Council of the European Union officially announced the discarded electronic and Electrical Equipment Directive (WEEE-2002/96/EC) and the “RoHS-2002/95/EC” on the prohibition of the use of certain harmful substances in electronic and electrical equipment (WEEE-2002/96/EC). The Directive requires lead Pb in electronic and electrical equipment sold to the EU market in July 1, 2006. Cadmium Cd, mercury Hg, six valence chromium Cr6+, polybromo two phenyl ether PBDE, polybrominated biphenyl PBB content were restricted. Led by the EU, the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, South Africa, Brazil and other countries have set out to formulate relevant national standards, and China is also actively working out the pollution control standards for electronic information products.
MOST carries out analysis and testing of harmful substances in electronic, electrical, communication, wire and cable, packaging materials and other products according to the EU directive, and provides technical support for enterprises to meet the requirements of the pollution prevention and control of RoHS instructions and electronic information products.
We provide the following professional RoHS services:
Testing and verifying services of prohibited chemicals in EU RoHS for electronic raw materials and components
Support for statement of material and composition of electronic components and components.
Third party assessment of suppliers of electronic raw materials or components
Pre test for electronic components and materials
Field training and EU RoHSRoHS directive consultation

Manufacturer’s inspection process and matters of attention
Detection principle: according to the requirements of the EU WEEE & RoHS directive, our company can test the whole machine and the raw material, the ministry product, the base material and so on. The whole machine will be divided according to the material and classified scientifically, and the harmful substances should be detected separately. Parts are usually divided into two major categories of metal material and plastic material. In the metal material, four harmful heavy metal elements (lead Pb, mercury Hg, cadmium Cd, six valence chromium Cr6+) are usually detected. In addition, the plastic materials generally have to detect the four kinds of harmful heavy metal elements above, and the brominated flame retardant organic compounds (polybrominated biphenyl PBB, polybromination) need to be detected. Diphenyl ether PBDE). Four kinds of harmful heavy metal elements (lead Pb, mercury Hg, cadmium Cd, six valence chromium Cr6+) are also required for the packaging materials of different materials (94/62/EEC).
Dismantling needs to know: the manufacturer who needs to be tested is requested to have a detailed dismantling of the products needed to be detected before the sample is sent to the sample, and the separate parts are loaded and marked out of the name of each part respectively. The requirements for each component are as follows:
1) only heavy metals are detected: solid 5-20g and liquid 5-20mL.
2) detect heavy metals and organic pollutants: provide 20-50g samples.
3) only to detect the samples of the coating (coating), should indicate the material of the coating (coating), and provide the general weight of the coating (coating) part of the sample; if the weight of the coating (coating) can not reach the requirement of the sample delivery, the material of the coating (coating) should be provided.
4) in accordance with the requirements of the EU RoHS, the cost of each material is higher and the cost will be higher. Our company now uses a more scientific, more economical and similar material classification method, which meets the requirements of the European Union RoHS and is more economical, which can make the inspection cost relatively low.
In order to fill in the entrustment inspection agreement: before sending the sample, the CCCC suppliers will fill out the special electronic material inspection agreement of our company (the agreement can be downloaded by the website, including two formats in Chinese and English), or by fax. In addition to filling out the detailed information of your company, please fill out the name and quantity of the sample in the column of the “sample name” and fill in the categories of the items required for the test in the “test project” column.
Deliver the inspection samples, entrust the inspection agreement and send the samples to Shenzhen. It is the 4 21A-B of Nanshan District Chuang Road, modern city.
The cost of testing = the total amount of material required to be detected for each test item required. Please return to your company after confirming the quantity and price of the material and other information.
Payment method:
1) after the two parties have confirmed, the inspection fee is delivered.
2) customers need to pay first, arrange the test again and fax the remittance certificate to our company. For the customers in the field, the test can be arranged after the inspection agreement and the sample are received. The customer should arrange the remittance and fax the remittance certificate within two working days after the confirmation of the signature.
